JV Girls Volleyball Improves League Record to 5-0
The Girls JV Volleyball team defeated Sobato in straight sets at Sobrato on Tuesday by scores of 25-19 and 25-22. Westmont was never behind in the first set but only opened up the game in the last few points.
In the second set, the lead changed 6 times with streaks of scoring by both teams. But Westmont prevailed and surged in the last 7 points to defeat the Sobrato team.
The victory makes the Westmont JV team undefeated in League play and looking to continue that streak against Piedmont Hills on Thursday Oct. 8th at Piedmont Hills.
